Wahoka braves and princesses!
We're done to the final two events for the year, Please join us for the Ocean Adventure, Indian Princess’s Marine Biologist Guided Tour of Dana Point on Saturday, May 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Please arrive at boat dock by 9:30. The water should be calm, but bring jacket and maybe dramamine just in case.
The cos is $20 per person and it includes the tour and patch.

It's that time again! This is one trip that you don't want to miss.
Activities
- Camp Marston has a wide range of activities! canoeing on Lake Jessop, miles of hiking trails, the archery range, and air-rifles.
- You can also test your climbing skills on our bouldering wall and 40-foot climbing tower.
- There are two fields for sports or gathering as a group. Disk golf, or observing life at the bird blind can round out your day.
Lodging
- YMCA Camp Marston offers a first rate camping experience for all ages.
- Each lodge has four bedrooms which sleep up to six people each.
- A nice sized community room complete with couches, tables and a wood-stove.
- A men's and women's bathroom & showers just down the hall.
- Carpeted floors and comfortable bunks make you want to stay for a long, long time!
Food Service - Their food service staff prides themselves with having the best food around.
- Meals are served hot three times a day.
- A fresh salad bar is offered at Lunch and Dinner.
- At breakfast, in addition to our hot entree, there is a cereal and fresh fruit bar.
- Milk, juice and water are available at every meal.
What's even better is that we have the camp all to ourselves (just like Catalina)... so no long lines or waiting... just lots of fun with your daughter!

Come and join us for the nation’s largest non-motorized parade!
How often do you get a chance to be in a parade with your daughter? Don't miss this event!
We designed a special Pawnee Nation t-shirt with the name of EVERY princess in each tribe on the back. We went ahead and ordered one for every princess and father in the nation. Trust me, you're going to want this shirt whether you make the parade or not! This is our final farewell shirt commemorating the end of the Indian Princes program.
We will meet at El Horno Street at 8:30 to 9:00 am to ASSEMBLE the Tee Pees (See Map). We will then roll to the staging area (marked with the Tee Pee on the attached map).
$20 per person covers the cost of materials for the floats, entrance fees and T-shirts for everyone.
The parade starts at 11:00 AM. Be there or volunteer to be Chief next year!

I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and that 2010 is a
great year for everyone! Our first event for 2010 is just around the corner.
We've rented out the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace for the Pawnee Nation
on:
January 23rd from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.
This event is open to
the entire family - so bring your squaw and other princesses and braves if you
like.
The cost is $15 per person and includes skate rental and rink
fees.
This event must be PREPAID - they won't be taking money at the
door. So please either register online at the Y's site or fill out the attached event form and fax it back to Erin at the YMCA.

REGISTRATION FOR THE DISNEY DANCE IS NOW OPEN! I have attached the registration form. The cost is $65 per person. This includes the dinner, dance and the event patch. The Dance begins at 4:30 for pictures and 5:30 for dinner/dance on December 13th and it will end at 8:30. REGISTRATION FOR CAMP FOX IS NOW OPEN! This is the one camping event of the year NOT to miss! I'll be preparing a flyer and sending it out by Monday or Tuesday. But, don't wait to sign up because there are only 150 spots (this means fewer than 75 father and daughters since some fathers have more than one daughter in the program) so don't put this one off... sign up today. I have attached the registration form. The cost is $170 per person. This includes round-trip boat transportation, all meals from Friday night to Sunday morning, and the event patch. We'll be meeting at the dock in Long Beach at 3pm on Friday, October 24th and departing at 4pm sharp (returning Sunday afternoon). WAHOKA!! The Mighty Shawnee would like to welcome you to our first Nation event of the season, the Pawnee Nation Welcome Luau, on Sunday, September 27th, at Doheny State Beach from 11-3pm (food starts at 12:30). We need you to RSVP by the 16th. Cost of the event is $20 per FAMILY (food and drink included). I'm going to handle payment for our tribe, so please pay me online using your credit card (link found above) or as a last resort give me cash at the event. This is one of the few events that is open to the entire family - so bring your squaw, all your braves and your princesses to this event
IF YOU'RE A NEW MEMBER OR YOU WANT TO BRING A PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBER - they can sign up with the YMCA even buy their vests on the spot! This is a PATCH event, and we are actually optimistic that we'll have patches THERE that day! LET'S HAVE A GREAT FIRST NATION EVENT, AND AN OUTSTANDING SEASON!!
